i) The complete
inspection of crankshaft, as per the protocol was done, which includes dimensional inspection for taper & ovality, hardness test, MPI for crack detection and visual inspection.
All other parameters were observed within limits, except excessive ovality was observed in case of all crankpins in the range of 0.10 MM to 0.40 MM.
This is considered to be very much on the higher side, as the tolerance for the crankpin diameter 130.00 MM is only 0.03 MM, as per the manual.

| Ovality of All Crankpins | Remarks |
| CR PIN #01 | 0.38 MM | |
| CR PIN #02 | 0.10 MM | This Pin is already down by 1.5 MM |
| CR PIN #03 | 0.40 MM | |
| CR PIN #04 | 0.25 MM | |
| CR PIN #05 | 0.10 MM | |
iii) All the crankpins were ground according to the extent of ovality.
iv) The bearings of undersize was supplied by RA Power Solutions.
v) The Engine was commissioning in presence of our technicians and performance was found satisfactory.
